PVD — Physical Vapor Deposition — is a contemporary finishing process in which 18k yellow gold is deposited onto the stainless steel surface in a vacuum chamber. Unlike traditional gold plating, the PVD process creates a hard, durable surface finish while allowing the ring to retain the strength, weight, and practicality of stainless steel.
This option was added for customers who would like the presence of 18k yellow gold on the surface of the ring, in a more accessible and durable stainless steel Barley Ring.
