The Art of Jewellery and Metalsmithing, Introductory Class: Begins Monday, September 12th, 2022
A dynamic and fulfilling craft!
Join fellow students and learn fundamental jewellery and metalworking techniques and the use of specialized tools through detailed demonstrations and studio work. Projects include a ring, chain-making or hollow construction.
Course fee includes all materials. Metals offered are copper and brass. Please bring to the first class: a notebook, pencil, dust mask, and a small container to store ongoing projects. If possible, please bring a pair of shoes to wear in the studio other than your street shoes if the weather is messy. Long hair tied back please.
Students are welcome to wear masks related to protection from the Covid19 virus.

Classes are held in the Hammer Jewellery Studio School’s fully equipped studio:

You will receive an email with the callbox # at the building entrance. Enter the number you receive, identify yourself, and Donna will buzz you in. Take the elevator to the 5th floor, turn right.
All payments for workshops and classes are non-refundable. If public health restrictions come into effect that prevent classes from taking place we will reschedule to a later date.
